I apologize for any who might have been upset by the sight of blood the last time I wrote. I've cut my forearm badly in the last battle. A bit of a gash, I'm afraid. It was difficult to bandage it correctly on the field, but we made a stop at one of the villages, and there was an apprentice healer there. She was very talented.
I should reach home again within days ... the number and organization of the bandits I've seen is bizarre, to say the least. I'd like to warn everyone in the area to be on your guard. I don't think we've seen the last of this.
