How did allow myself to be days away from Bresa, again, after this? The worst part is, I still haven't atoned for anything, even with a sacrifice as big as this.

I just want to get through this with as little embarrasment as possible. The fewer people who know we're on this trip, the better, though word will get out soon enough ...

Perhaps there's an offer of peace coming, after all. We can't accept anything less than a full apology, of course, but wouldn't that be wonderful?
